Tampa Microwave Names Vice President for Army Programs
TAMPA FLORIDA – 11 November, 2011. Tampa Microwave, a privately held communications equipment design and manufacturing firm has named John Schroder as Vice President for Army Programs. This is a new position established to broaden the awareness of Tampa Microwave’s family of small, light and extremely capable satellite communications terminals and specialized test equipment.
“John is a talented leader with twenty years of relevant experience in the satellite communications industry, said Eric Guerrazzi, Tampa Microwave’s President. “His background, demonstrated expertise and broad understanding of Beyond Line of Sight communications hardware and infrastructure will be invaluable to us as our products evolve, our business partnerships expand and our addressable markets grow.”
Mr. Schroder received an undergraduate degree in Economics from the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. He has held business development positions with Intelsat General Corporation, Iridium LLC, MCI, Sprint and Harris CapRock Communications.
